Bigfoot in Pennsylvania? That was the question posed as the headline of the AP story below. So with Halloween being this week.... I ask... do you believe?

RIDGWAY, Pa. (AP) -- Has a Pennsylvania hunter captured Bigfoot on camera? Rick Jacobs says he photographed a furry creature with an automatically triggered camera fastened to a tree in the Allegheny National Forest. He says he was hoping to get some pictures of deer. But the critter he photographed has got him stumped. The Bigfoot Research Organization says Jacobs' picture could show a baby Sasquatch. But the Pennsylvania Game Commission has a more conventional opinion. A spokesman for the commission says the picture is of bear with a bad case of mange.

I am still waiting to see the picture.
In all of the news items on this story, I have YET to see any pictures.

Do I believe there could be a "Bigfoot or Yeti"?
Not really, probably a Hatfield or McCoy remnant type, that has found that they prefer forest creatures to "civilized" humans. In many cases, some of the people that I have crossed paths with in the last 65 years, I can't say as I would blame them for opting for the forest.

I met up with a large black bear in Promised Land State Park in PA years ago. I was just hoping she was Bigfoot, and lucky for me, she wasn't hungry---just looked at me like I was stupid for hanging around her neighborhood. Scared me half to death---bears are big when you get too close!
I bet the Ranger is right that it was a bear having a bad hair day.

Yeah I believe. I also believe in UFOs, alien abductions, Area-51 crash wreckage conspiracies, Roswell cover-ups and global warming. Oh, and my hero happens to be George Noory of Coast-to-Coast AM fame.
