Fox 5 Morning News Anchor Bob grew up in Northern Virginia, attending Woodson High School in Fairfax and graduating from the University of Virginia. He was a successful baseball player; drafted to play professional baseball by the Kansas City Royals out of high school and attending college on a baseball scholarship. (A foot injury ended his career after three years at UVa.) Bob has worked as an anchor and/or reporter in Medford, Oregon; San Antonio, Texas; Seattle, Washington; as well as CNBC, and the Fox News Channel in New York City before coming to WTTG. He is a former stockbroker, who's first TV job was with the Business Channel in Los Angeles. He has also published a sports newspaper and performed comedy in L.A. He met his wife in San Antonio, and they live in Northern Virginia with their twin girls.
