Where can and EXPERT "Texas Hold 'em" player find a local game in the DC/MD/VA area?

The game of poker has grown wings and have taken off like a wild eagle!  Every sports channel you turn too, you see a high stakes game going on by some of the legends.  I remember  when Coyote Ugly in downtown DC was open, they had games on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Now that they are closed, i don't see anymore games around.

Where are all of my fellow experts?  Talk to me!  Where is the competition?

There are several places around that have tourney's, But only the private ones with actual gambling. As for I play Texas hold 'em extremely well. I know of several weekly games spots, but they are invite only.
In Vienna there is a place that holds NON-gambling tourney's twice a week I believe. Look up Neighbors in Vienna and give them a call to see if they are still doing it. I moved out of Vienna a year ago and not sure if they are still active.
Beware the river!

I think "Jimmy's" which is a bar/restaurant in Herndon, Va. has Texas Hold 'Em tournaments. Give them a call.

i really dont need to tell you anything....i think you can make certain deductions based on the information you received LOL. yep, ive been playing poker in some form almost all of my life (my grandfather taught me how to play draw poker when i was 5) and playing hold'em as well as many other forms of the games seriously for the last couple of years. i usually play in the local tournaments, i have 3 cashes, 2 local, one in Vegas. ive been one of only 2 women to make the final table at the american legion tournament, and finished deep in this year's circuit event for the WSOP at caesar's AC. i want to play in the WSOP soon, hopefully next year. i also like to play omaha, 7 or 5 card stud, triple draw, horse, and the more locally known game pineapple. i hate razz. i want to learn a new game called 2/11 that i read about in my July BLUFF magazine. if i find out about anything else i'll let you know.
