This week marks the 5 year anniversay of Bush announcing "Mission Accomplish" on a ship wearing his military outfit and also wearing one of the biggests smiles you can imagine!  ha ha ha ha

Fast forward 5 years to this present day.  Over 4000 lives, enough money to feed and house every underserved family in the USA, and no end in sight.

How out of touch was this guy?  LoL  Two years after that....remember this one..."BROWNIE IS DOING A HECK OF A JOB!"  HA HA HA The Katrina situation really showed how out of touch he is.  A week later "Brownie" resigned.  Wasn't really experienced and he was in the same frat. as Bush.

Anyway....what is your opinion of the "Mission Accomplish" statement?  LoL

The mission was accomplished.Saddam and his army were overthrown. The fighting that continued/continues after that was the result of insurgents moving in and starting a guerilla war.

Well,"Smooov" can you explain how what i said wasn't accurate? The president made no suggestions that the work in Iraq was done back then. The military mission that the U.N. Coalition (of which the U.S.was part of)was fully accomplished and that was to remove Saddam from power upon his failing to meet U.N. requirements for weapons inspections. No,there is no "cleaning it up" those are just the facts. You can try "dirtying them up" by spin doctoring them all you want but it just makes either a liar or an idiot out of you.
BTW,I notice that you didn't have anything to say on my blog about the Democraps lying about WMD's and encouraging Bill Clinton and Bush to go to war.Any thoughts on those or are they an "inconvenient truth"?

The mission was accomplished. This administration's mission was to not finish the job in Afganistan and to streach this countries military so thin that it's only option would be to rely on private compinies that the administration had a vested intests in giving contracts to for the purpose of personal financial and politicial gain.

Sadam was the gatekeeper between Arabs and Persians. Destablize the middle east was the mission. It wasn't until Kuwaite Ambassador April Glaspie sold Sadam down the river with a wink and a nod in 1990 when she said the US would have "no opinion on Arab-Arab conflicts retaliating to the issue of Kuwait side drilling and stealing oil from Iraqi border oil feilds". The rest is history.

And let us not forget Israel's attack on an Iraqi nuclear plant in June 1981 by the ex terriorist leader of Israel Menachem Begin.

Sadam's sealed his own fate though when he started asking oil payments be paided in Euro's instead of Dollars. This if it would have continued would have adversely effected Bush's re election run. If this trend would have caught on, (as it has now Warren Buffet and others investing 10's of billions of Dollars in Euorpean investments) moving investment monies out of the US stockmarket devaluing the dollar our exposing economic vulnerablity before a Bush 2nd term he might not have been re elected. He would have been like his father a one termer. The Mission was stave off the inevitable or at least for 5 more years.

Mission Accomplished like his Grandfather banker Prescott Bush (and Herbert Walker) profiting from war by investing Nazi monies in this country for the likes of Fritz Thyssen. Congress even froze Prescott and Herbert Walkers assets with the "trading with the enemy act" in 1942. It was unfrozen after George the Father cane back a war hero for being one of the last WWII piolt's to be shot down.

George Bush's mission was accomplished and now the Americian public is left once again to carry the Bush families dirty water.

I love you GWOT ....

I hope it goes on for years and years..... its a fantastic testing ground for all kinds of new weapons, biometrics, and ISR systems. The research and development into these new technologies will make this country safer in the future.... as well as creating jobs and new high tech industries for the people who bother to study hard in school.

Yeah... I say keep the war going until those people can walk around as free as we can.... and then we can move on to the next country and spread freedom and democracy across the globe.

GWOT baby.... I love you!!!!

Pinky, you are so full of BLEEP!George Senior was shot down on September the 2nd 1944 which hardly made him one of the last pilots shot down during WW2.
Plus,George Senior returned a war hero because, after flying 58 combat missions,he earned the Dustinquished Flying Cross, three Air Medals and a Presidential Unit Citation which requires a tremendous amount of heroism under fire to accomplish.

Now for a little something else.Regarding Fritz Thyssen I don't know how you can connect him with Prescott Bush.I've looked high and low and fail to find anything whatsoever mentioning the two together.
Plus, how can you call Fritz's money "Nazi"?In 1939 Thyssen wrote Herman Goering a letter condemning the war.Fritz was thrown out of Germany and his company stolen from him by the Nazis. He moved first to Switzerland and then later to France. There he was arrested by the Nazis and spent thr rest of the war in a concentration camp, first at Sachsenhausen and then at Dachau. His company was eventualy given back to other members of his family later on.

Pinky,if you were driven to the comments you made due to a book supposedly written by Fritz Thyssen titled "I Paid Hitler",that book was actually written by a Hungarian named Emery Reeves who owned a publishing company named Cooperation Publishing Service. This book is among many put out by this company in an attempt to demonize industry as friends of Hitler.Imagine the egg on their face upon realizing that Fritz had actually been in a concentration camp during the war for apposing it.

O.K. Pinky upon looking a bit farther I found the incident you were speaking of regarding the seisure of German assets due to American companies trading with the Nazis.
Howver, the only involvement Grandad Bush had was that he owned one lousy share of Union Banking which was wrapped up in the mess.

Uh...guys...since you insist on calling the democrats "democraps"...I think we should all refer to the republicans as repubicants...that's re pubic cants as opposed to "cans". I kind of like that...it has an honest ring to it. Pinky... it is a waste of time to try to talk to people who've made up their minds that if you don't agree with everything they say...then you are a LIBERAL. ...and everybody knows there's something wrong with "them people"...never mind the truth.

M-fan...I'm glad you dug a little deeper in your reasearch about grandad Bush because I was ready to light you up with the truth. LoL

"One lousy share..." or not....a vested intrest is what it is....a vested intrest.

AveMaria22...you're a little late with the "republiCANT." I started that a little over a year ago. I invented it only for my overly conservative friends (M-Fan, Priveye, Y3Y3...and others).

The point of this blog is to prove why Bush is considered the DUMBEST FULL TERM PRESIDENT EVER. He has proved how out of touch he is with the American people.

Yeah, but it was still one lousy share. How do you know he hadn't just forgotten all about it?Is that all ya got?Speaking of someone "lighting up" someone else with the truth, when are you gonna get to commenting on all of those quotes I posted about Democraps and WMD's?

AveMaria, since you have constantly dodged so many issues i've posed to you your opinion is esentially worthless.Typical liberal "pick and choose" mentality.Always picking only the few arguements you can sorta win just like picking which rights you choose to defend.

Also,Ave can you define conservative for me?I believe that was something else i asked of you not long ago but you pretended not to notice.
Plus,if you wanna stick the label "can't" on someone perhaps you should stick it to Bill Clinton. After all if he had actually DONE something about Osama and Saddam, like his fellow Dems encouraged him to,then Bush wouldn't have had to clean up this mess like Republican Nixon had to clean up Vietnam after the two warmongering Democrats before him.Of course warmongering is nothing new for the Democrats as every war we've been in since the Civil War against people who never actually attacked us was started by Democrats.

My boy Smoovie...have you been hanging with the crackhead ex-mayor? As you seem to have forgotten old peanut head himself. Without a doubt Jimmy Carter was and continues to be the dumbest president/ex-president ever.

Oh PLEEEEZZZEE Smooov, "republican't " was first used in the 1960's. First in reference to Goldwaters failed attempt for president. Are all your 'facts' as well researched?

Grasping for straws to show us how clever you think you are? Pathetic.

Mission accomplished, my big behind.

The only thing this moron managed to accomplish was to detour from the original mission of capturing/killing Osama bin Laden and instead, get us into an unnecessary elective war which had nothing to do with the original aforementioned mission. Yeah, Saddam is dead. Big Deal. We're mired down in Iraq worse than the Soviets ever had it in Afghanistan. The middle east is in worse shape than it was before this jackass decided to 'liberate' Iraq. World opinion of the US is two steps into the outhouse and Osama is laughin' his turban off at us. This isn't Bush bashin' folks. This is the way it is. Maybe the next Prez - whoever it turns out to be - will remember what the original mission was supposed to be & finally get Osama. I live for the day when we can drag his butt down Broadway & stone him in the middle of Times Square.

M-fan....? Priveye.....? Y3Y3....?

"ReportFromTheFront" made a valid point! We were suppose to go after the person that was responsible for 9/11...Osama Bin Ladin! What happen to that focus? The same reason why his family was allowed to leave the country when there was a "Manditory No Flying" going on. Vested interest! I'm bashing Bush! I'll say it!!!!

There is not one word that a conservative can say to me about their party that would validate anything! Just say two words every time they open their mouths...."George Bush!"
