The New Yorker Obama Cover

Hey, guys...I'm sure you've seen the New Yorker Magazine's cartoon cover with Barack wearing muslim garb, Michelle dressed like a terrorist carrying an AK-47 and a picture of Osama bin Laden on the wall burning an American flag.  There may be other great "funnies" in the cartoon.... Isn't it interesting that Obama can't take the heat.....he's busting a gut with anger over the cartoon.  Awwwww.  I think New Yorker  is merely expressing Obama's information as we heard it, in cartoon format.  What's wrong with THAT?  Oh...I think Michelle and Osama...er, uh Obama are knocking fists in the good old black power salute in the cartoon????  This a GREAT cover for the New Yorker....

Hmmm. In retrospect, the "fist knock" may not be black power salute...Can some enterprising black american tell me what that fist knocking thing they do is about? It must "signify" something??? It seems the old black power salute was something else....

As a black and independent ,I thought it was hilarious! Has anyone you seen some of the pictures of George Bush in the past? Mr Bush didn't cry! He was strong enough within his skin to blow it off and still do what he believed. Obama, instead, cries like a spoiled brat on the playground when he falls and hurt his knee. What a wimp!

This guy -obama -is such a baby! I thought the New yorker's picture was d&m spot on! But the liberal media and the Affirmative action crew jumped in and complained-as usual for this guy.

The little fist tap ,where Michelle thought she was being cool , could not have be more telling -to me- about their deep ideology.

The picture was very fitting to me!

That must have hit a little too close to home, but WE ALL KNOW who the militant is in the Obama family!

You cannot be Commander-in-Chief if your skin is that thin. Like drerunner stated you have "to blow it off and still do what he believed".

Listen Up Ave Maria...the fist bump as the back of the hand bump as in the forearm bump is not a "Black" thing. It's a Butcher, Fisherman, hardworker thing which evolved when say the Butchers customer comes in and the Butcher is up to his arms in blood and gore...he quickly wipes an area clean and performs a quick touch hello...it's centuries old!!!!!!!Fact not fiction

As you wish...I should probably tell that to the butchers and fisherman in Ireland that I've met personally. But to help you out since you need a little...The Dap...dates back to the roots of Jazz& entertainment...an expression of unity...has undergone many evolutions and modifications and has moved through society into various cultures e.g athlete,pop,gangs,& so on...widely recognized throughout the caribbean...yup lived there too and most of the free world...and that one potato dap...dap...slap...slap...is a Black Thing chuckles...read my post again...did I say DAP? I said brief knuckle touch, back of hand& forearm...quit being so closed minded... do some research. Yes, I have extensively studied Black history and Jazz.

Did you study REAL black history or the BS that the revisionists want you to believe? Being that you also list JAZZ (or Jass) in your research, I can see you probably only know the BS.

aquaman....(smile...and a dap to you)....In other words, it's a black thing. Hey, Y3, I have a subject that I really want to post and get your opinion. You mentioned George Soros name in a past post and I did not know who he is. Well, today I heard it again and I have a post to write...perhaps, you can fill me in after I write the post. I'm really curious about that guy and certain things I'm hearing. If what I am hearing is true, I need to re-register as "something" other than as a Democrat....and so might every democrat on this earth...hmmmm.

From what I am seeing, Soros does not have one whit of conscience. Why don't you do the blog Y3 and let me listen...I, too, believe we have to get the word out on that guy...he gives sumbich a whole new meaning. I think I understand your view of politics a whole lot more...this dude makes you realize why the DNC has been bought right along with shiphead Dean.. and, possibly, Leheay...

Good morning reportfromthefront...Sugar, the New Yorker just like RollingStone and dozens of other mags could never be called sweet literature. As everyone says on all New Yorker blogs, Obama simply joins Bush, Clinton and dozens of other prominent people who've experienced "The New Yorker" tongue in cheek humor...satire. Truly, Obama will survive.
