Some may argue that this Thread belongs in the Political Forum, rather than here in the News Forum. I would politely beg to differ. This is News for many who just are not aware of the Content, here; and also to those who have simply had their heads buried in the sand, to avoid thinking ill of our Government. Our Government, as originally Designed and Ordained, is the best possible form of Government ever designed by Human Beings. What it was Originally just is not what it has Morphed into now.

Congress was once a body of Common Citizens who did their Duty and went back to their Homes and Personal Endeavors after two terms at most, Honest and Honorable Men, trusted by their Neighbors, Walking in their Integrity, and Jealous of their Good Name.

Now? The Vast Majority are the Spawn of Elitists, with Ivy League Educations, schooled in Political Science, and that sealed with a Juris Doctorate. Their Goal is to Rule, rather than to Serve. And following that, they are not merely "out of touch" with the Common Citizen, but absolutely Despotic in all of their Attitudes.

Evil and Wicked Persons, they are. Unfaithful to Humanity, and Treacherous in the execution of their Duty to the Constitution and its Principles under which this Nation was Established.

This Definition extends also to the Rank and File of the Bureaucracy underpinning our Government's Infrastructure. The desire for Personal Gain and Security, by these who esteem themselves to be "above the frey," are maintained high above the Needs of the People. In this atmosphere of Elitism, the Tactic is to maintain Divisions among the Common Citizenry, so as to distract us from the ridiculous levels of Misfeasance and Malfeasance to which they are so Dedicated. To that end, there is often an ingredient added which is best defined as “Putting the desires of the Few above the needs of the many," easy for them, since it an adaptation of the Code by which they Themselves live.

My Fellow Americans . . . I am not calling for anything short of Getting Real about where we stand in the Eyes of those who call themselves the "Governing Body." We are the Government, and it behooves us to step up to the plate and clean up this mess. The Corruption is Entrenched and Pervasive . . . It will not be an easy task. Many will be unwilling to join the Movement because it will necessarily put an end to "Gimme" Programs, such as "Earmarks," Prejudicial Benefits, and manipulable Subsidies for Businesses.

If we do not turn this Corner now, we will not continue to be the United States of America . . . the Land of the Free, and the Home of the Brave.
