Check out this truly fascinating story I found on the Associated Press!
"Archaeologists in Jordan say a cave discovered under an ancient church could be the oldest Christian worship site in the world.
The cave is under St. Georgeous Church, built in Rihab, Jordan, in the year 230 A.D. It's one of the oldest churches in the world, along with one in Israel and another in Jordan.
Scientists in Jordan say there is evidence that the underground cave was used as a church by 70 disciples of Jesus in the first century after Christ's death. That would make it the oldest Christian site of worship in the world."
Some experts are urging caution, saying more research needs to be done before this claim can truly be made but it is very interesting still.
